Dentists recommend kicking the paci habit by the time baby is 12 months old. We've got the weaning process down to a science (literally!) with this 5-step system to ditch the pacifier for good. Each paci is progressively shorter - and less satisfying - so baby gives that binky the boot. No kitchen scissors required!
Features:
5 STEP SYSTEM: Gradually reduces sucking satisfaction to wean from orthodontic nipple only.
DENTIST DESIGNED: Invented by a pediatric dentist.
BOOT THE BINKY: Most effective on kiddos under 12 months.
BPA-FREE: Latex-free and BPA-free. Silicone nipples.
Product Includes: 5 orthodontic-shaped dentist-designed pacifiers that get shorter with each step
The pacifiers were good quality I do like them they were the perfect type for my daughter it's the type she likes I was kind of iffy because they do have holes in them which means that the babies are sucking air my daughter did not like that so much but she still took it you can hear it's an amazing... idea and it's a pretty good idea for weaning a baby off of pacifier

Works okay
I received a sample Fridababy Paci Weaning System set for free from TryItSampling, and so far the paci's have worked fairly well. My eleven month old daughter is very attached to her pacis, and has multiple ones stashed around the house. We are taking it slow with the system, and I've found out the ...hard way, one to two days is not enough for her. We are taking it several days at a time with the system. We find it most difficult at nap times and at night, because she has a habit of having a paci in her mouth and holding another paci in her hand. This system isn't really designed to handle a hardcore paci addict like her. She sometimes switches pacis out during the night too, so it's been really difficult. She also grinds her teeth when she doesn't have a paci, so we are wondering if maybe taking the paci away too soon might be a bad thing. Overall, I really like the system, but I'm not sure if it will be enough for my daughter at the moment. I do recommend it though.

This paci weaning system is super cute and great for babies. It comes with 5 stage pacifiers which will help the baby from begging to end. It's pací crazy to paci see ya! supwr cute and handy for whenever they're ready to get rid of the pacifier! The pacifier gets smaller as the stages moves up, so by the time you reach the 5th pacifier (see ya!) it's actually cutoff (smaller) so the child can actually show no interest on it!

We have an almost 5 month old who thinks if hes not eating he has to have his paci! We haven't used it yet and probably wont until he starts teething, but I am sure this will be very needed for us to break his paci habbit!

I honestly never thought my son would be able to stop using his pacifier. I wasn't only scared for him but also for me and how he would sooth or handle not having it. I am so glad I got this weaning system! It took away the "bad guy" feeling I felt about taking his pacifier away. In his eyes I didn't take it away. With this FridaBaby Paci Weaning System it took us 8 days to be done, our previous pacifier was shaped similar. It was way smoother than my cold turkey method with my other children! Each pacifier gets shorter and has directions when and why to use each one. I highly recommend this to every parent trying to wean their children from their pacifiers! It was amazing and I am so glad someone came up with such an incredible idea!

I love how easy this was at weaning my daughter from her pacifier. When I switched to the next step, each time my daughter wasn't happy but she was off the pacifier faster than I thought!

The paci weaning system has made it easy to get my toddler off his pacifier. The staged system is easy to use and makes it clear on what steps to take. Highly recommend if you need to get your little one of the paci.

I was always against pacifiers until I gave birth to my third child. She needed something to soothe her and unfortunately my breast wasn't enough.
I introduced her to a pacifier and I knew that by the time her first birthday came along I wanted to wean her off of it. My method of choice was to quit cold turkey but let me just say what a nightmare that was. So we started doing our research and that's when I came across this Paci weaning system. We have one more left to try and she will be completely off the pacifier. She doesn't look for it anymore. She doesn't get comfort from The pacifier anymore. This passy weaning system is absolutely genius. Are you recommend to any parent wanting to wean their child off the pacifier

Any mom, or parent can tell you how exhausting it is to hear everyone's advise on how to parent and their opinions on how to best do it. Well one area I was always cognizant of and self, critical in, is the fact my 20 month old is still 100% hooked on her binky. Don't get me wrong, I still think of them as the best inventions of humanity and the best mute button. But coming close to 2 yrs, I needed help getting my little one away from the binky for the simple fact that her oral health may be affected.
I tried everything, literally! For one, she only takes on kind of binky- the Maam one. I was able to remove the binky dependence during the day (largely though on our bad days, we're still quite dysfunctional without one) but nap times and night times are never successful without one.
We tried cutting the paci, but she kept crying without one. I tried dipping it in lemon juice (I refuse to do the hot pepper since I can't stomach the pain) and she happens to love lemon juice. So when this new Frida Baby product came onto the market, I was sold. I have always loved all things FridayBaby and didn't doubt the quality or utility at the time I decided to make the purchase.
Basically how it works is that there are a total of 5 pacifiers included. Based on the instructions, they are to be used for 1-2 days and then switched onto stage 2 then 3 then 4 then 5. With each stage advancement, the binky gets shorter and shorter. Even stage one seemed to help her disregard it because it wasn't her one and only Maam. That, in and of itself, was a good start to being a deterrent. We are still in the beginning stages, since we are stretching it to one week at a time (my little one was a lot older when we got started so I wanted to be fair and give her enough time to kick the habit for good). But what I have noticed so far is that she is reaching for the binky with far less frequency and she hands it over voluntarily within a minute or two of putting it in her mouth. I'm sure that at this rate, she would be able to kick the habit for good.
Overall this is a genius and a much needed product in the market since I have never encountered the likes of it anywhere else. It definitely beats having to cut it and risking the bits of plastic in the little one's mouths. At this low price point, it's definitely worth a try!

I can officially say my daughter is done with the Paci! We did not even need the last Paci step. It was easy to follow the instructions and the allotted time for each stage of Paci. The hardest part is finding and getting rid of the old Paci.

This pacifier system is genius!! My dentist had mentioned trying this method years ago but i was unsure and never tried it with my firstborn. So now with my third baby this came in handy since it even gives you a chart for every step. Way easier than removing pacis cold turkey. Definitely recommend! Plus you can never go wrong with Frida baby products.

I was a little skeptical of this product, mostly because I thought that there was no way it could be that easy. I am glad I can say I was certainly wrong! I followed the directions and allowed 2 days per pacifier step. It seemed she rarely noticed the transition. Once I made it to step 4 it took about a week but then it seemed like she completely forgot about her pacifier. I had tried to switch to step 5 after the initial two days but she wasn't having it which was fine because eventually we didn't even need it. I am really happy with this product, highly recommend.
